Gusmann Saintil's primary role is to manage the production of vegetables grown in the hydroponics and aquaponics greenhouses, in addition to all outdoor raised beds at Sustainability Village. He is also our lead staff member engaged in weekly marketing and sales of produce at local farmers markets. Gusmann also keeps record of daily production, harvest data, water quality data, and assists in the training of students for the same tasks.
Gusmann has served in this role since his graduation from Johnson C. Smith in spring of 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. His knowledge of all aspects of running the gardens has made him an invaluable member of the Sustainability Village team.
